Guardian Analytics has assembled a team of industry leaders with diverse backgrounds in Internet and enterprise technologies.

Terry Austin

President and CEO

Prior to joining Guardian Analytics, Terry Austin served as CEO and president of MarketLive, a leading provider of eCommerce platform solutions, where he created a scalable business strategy, assembled a world-class executive team and led successful fundraising efforts. He was previously president of worldwide marketing and sales at Good Technology, a provider of mobile computing solutions, where he spearheaded the company's rapid growth from 10,000 to over 500,000 subscribers and facilitated its acquisition by Motorola in January 2007. Austin has also served as president of EMEA and executive vice president for Manugistics, a market leading provider of enterprise software. He started his career at Accenture, where he ultimately led an $80 million consulting practice as a lead partner.

Craig Priess

Founder and Vice President, Products and Business Development

Craig Priess has more than 15 years experience in enterprise software technology. Prior to founding Guardian Analytics, Craig spearheaded marketing efforts at Above All Software, a leading provider of integration technologies based on service-oriented architectures. Prior to Above All Software, he held product marketing and product management roles with several early stage enterprise software companies. Craig also spent five years each at CRM pioneer The Vantive Corporation and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.

Eric LaBadie

VP Sales

Eric LaBadie brings 15 years of enterprise software sales and sales management experience to Guardian Analytics. Most recently, Eric held various senior sales positions within IBM, including responsibility for managing the Fortune 500 financial services accounts for the Rational Software brand. Prior to this position, he served as Director of Sales for iSharp, a provider of system testing services, where he developed and managed a world-class field, telesales, and channel sales organization. He was also co-founder and Director of Sales at Silicon Valley Networks, a leader in software testing solutions, and was District Sales Manager for Pure Software, where he led his team to become the most consistent, top producing sales group in the company. Eric holds a BS in Marketing from Chico State University.

Tiffany Riley

Vice President, Marketing

Tiffany Riley brings over 15 years of enterprise marketing and product strategy experience to Guardian Analytics. A veteran of the software industry, Tiffany has successfully delivered market leadership, customer satisfaction and unparalleled brand awareness in emerging and mature markets such as eCommerce, Enterprise Contract Management, Call Center, CRM, and databases. She has built successful integrated marketing programs, strategic alliances, and award-winning products for start-up and global companies including Market Live, Nextance, Blue Pumpkin Software, Siebel, Scopus and Sybase. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Steve Schramm

VP Engineering

Steve Schramm has over 25 years of executive and technical leadership within the computer networking and communications industry. Steve was most recently Director of Unified Communications at Cisco, having come to that position via the acquisition of Orative Corp. where Steve was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering. At Orative, Steve and his team pioneered and patented innovative secure integration of mobile phones and enterprise telephony and messaging. Previously, Steve was Sr. Vice President of Engineering at Vayusphere, CEO, President and founder of DataRover Mobile Systems, and Vice President and General Manager of the Communication Products Division at General Magic. Steve has also held management and technical positions at TCSI, Hewlett-Packard, British Telecom/Tymnet, and Gather Computer. Steve received a BS in Mathematical Studies from Stanford University.

Brian Lucena

Chief Mathematician

Brian Lucena has a BA from Harvard College and a Ph.D. from Brown University in Applied Mathematics. His dissertation focused on computation in graphical probability models and he has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in probability, graph theory, and information theory. He was awarded the NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship, which he spent doing research and teaching at the University of Washington, UC-Santa Cruz, and UC-Berkeley. Prior to joining Guardian Analytics, Brian consulted for a variety of companies, including Complete Genomics, Spark Networks, and Prosper.com.
