Guardian Analytics Names Steve Schramm Vice President of Engineering

Executive Brings 25+ Years of Software Technology Experience to Online Fraud Prevention Startup

LOS ALTOS, Calif. , Nov. 13, 2007 — Guardian Analytics, a provider of online account fraud prevention software for financial services institutions, today announced that Steve Schramm has joined the company as vice president of engineering. Schramm brings over 25 years of experience in technology to Guardian Analytics and will be responsible for managing and growing the engineering team while delivering on its product roadmap of online account fraud detection, forensics and risk management solutions.

Schramm comes to Guardian Analytics with a long history of building engineering teams and leading-edge technology products. He most recently served as Cisco's director of unified communications; reaching this position via the acquisition of Orative Corp. which he co-founded as vice president of engineering. Previously, Schramm was senior vice president of engineering at Vayusphere; CEO, president and founder of DataRover Mobile Systems; and vice president and general manager at General Magic. He has also held management and technical positions at TCSI, Hewlett-Packard, British Telecom/Tymnet and Gather Computer.
